According to the article, there were no signs of trauma to the body of Charles Schuppe, who was found by someone walking along the highway and later identified by the Berks County coroner.

The Reading Eagle reported that Charles C. Schuppe’s body was badly decomposed, and that the cause and manner of his death remain under investigation, pending the results of microscopic testing.

The Reading newspaper reported that Schuppe was from Northampton.

Another search of online public records indicates a Charles C. Schuppe, 61, has an address in South Bethlehem and formerly lived in Hellertown.

According to the Reading Eagle the decomposed body of Charles Schuppe, 61, was found Tuesday near the N. Wyomissing Boulevard exit of the West Shore Bypass (Rt. 422), a busy highway along the Schuylkill River in Wyomissing, Berks County.
