Reda A. Stauffer, 98, formerly of Wassergass, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Westin Nursing Home, Lower Saucon Township. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.

Reda A. Stauffer, 98, formerly of Wassergass, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Westin Nursing Home, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of the late William H. Stauffer, who died Dec. 23, 1993. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on Feb. 24, 1920 to the late Floyd A. and Maude A. (Wasser) Brader. Reda was a domestic engineer and also sold Dutch Made Clothing. She was a member of Lower Saucon UCC, Hellertown. Reda was a very active volunteer and cook at Southeastern Volunteer Fire Co., where she was past president. She was a member of the former 60+ Club and Seniors at St. Luke’s Old Williams Lutheran Church.

SURVIVORS

Children: Joan M. (Godfrey F.) Fixl, Robert L. (Beverly) Stauffer, William P. Stauffer, all of Hellertown; sisters: Ruth Beezer of Allentown, Martha (Arlan) Kemmerer of Hellertown; grandchildren: Robert Jr. (Keri) and Randy; great-grandchildren: Ryan (Kristen) and Kensi. She was predeceased by siblings: Stanley H., Doris Jones, Helen Leidich, Mildred Johnson, Floyd, Gerald, Edith Raab, Baby Bernice.

SERVICE

The service will be private at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
