Terry Lea Millen, 73, of Springfield Township, formerly of San Marcos, Texas, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.

Terry Lea Millen, 73, of Springfield Township, formerly of San Marcos, Texas, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s. She was the wife of Joseph A. Millen. Terry was born at the Patterson Army Air Corps Field Hospital Annex in Fairfield, Ohio, on April 12, 1945 to the late Lt. Gen. Charles H. and Beatrice (Holcombe) Terhune. Terry earned her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Health and Human Services from Penn State University. She was a teacher, specializing in child development from preschool-aged children to secondary education. Terry was a member of St. George’s Episcopal Church, Hellertown, and the Minsi Trail Flower Club.

SURVIVORS

In addition to her husband of 50 years; daughters: Jennifer Eyikan (Erol) of Fairfield, Conn., Amy Millen Brady (William) of Buffalo, N.Y., and Laura Holveck (Crist) of Pawcatuck, Conn.; siblings: Donna Lynch (Douglas) of Seattle, Wash., and Charles H. Terhune III of La Cresenta, Calif.; grandchildren: Ayhan, Aydin, Ayla, Beatrice, Fiona, Kathryn and Liberty.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to her memorial service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018 at St George’s Episcopal Church, 735 Delaware Ave., Hellertown, Pa. The interment will take place privately at San Marcos Cemetery, San Marcos, Texas. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
