Lower Milford Man Charged in Riegel Street, Hellertown, Burglary

Authorities say a Lower Milford man allegedly broke into a home in the 1600 block of Riegel Street in Hellertown borough Sunday and stole thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, ammunition and possibly a handgun.

Authorities say a Lower Milford Township man allegedly broke into a home in the 1600 block of Riegel Street in Hellertown borough Sunday morning; stole thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, .22 caliber ammunition and possibly a handgun that were stored in a second-floor lockbox; and then fled the scene in a silver Hyundai SUV, allegedly threatening a borough police officer who later called him to discuss what had allegedly happened, Channel 69 News reported Monday.

According to online court records, Oliemuller is charged with:

  • Burglary – Overnight Accommodations, Person Present (Felony 1)
  • Criminal Trespassing-Breaking into a Structure (Felony 2)
  • Theft by Unlawful Taking-Movable Property (Felony 2)
  • Terroristic Threats With Intent to Terrorize Another (Misdemeanor 1)

As of Tuesday he remained incarcerated, with a preliminary hearing before local District Judge Alan Mege scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 9 a.m., according to court papers.
