Week Five Krunch Time: Gotta Go To Mo (Brought to You by The Waldheim Beethoven Club)
The Panthers dominated on Friday night earning themselves a 42-14 victory over the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs. Just because it was a mercy-rule win for Saucon Valley doesn’t mean that there were no Krunch-Time! plays. With 20 seconds remaining in the 1st Half and the Panthers handily ahead, Saucon Valley took a shot to put a final nail in the Northern Lehigh coffin.

With three receivers out wide to the left and Patrick “Mo” Morrissey the only eligible receiver on the right at his tight end position, Saucon would take advantage of a blown coverage and, once again, found the end zone. Mahaffey, seeing that the Bulldogs overplayed their hand to the three-receiver side decided to shift his attention to Morrissey who was racing downfield all alone down the Panther sideline. With about 20 seconds remaining in the 1st Half, Mahaffey connected with Morrissey in full stride at midfield. Morrissey raced into the end zone with a couple of Bulldogs nipping at his heels.
In recognition of this Krunch Time! award, the Culinary Experience & Catering is rewarding Patrick with a $12 meal voucher to be redeemed at the next Saucon Source Post-Game Tailgate Party at the Waldheim Beethoven Club. Friday night the Panthers (5-0) travel to Bangor (3-2) for a much anticipated slugfest!
Great job Patrick, the Source is with you!
