Eleanor S. Martin, 80, of Hellertown, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 at her residence. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.
Eleanor S. Martin, 80, of Hellertown, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of the late James H. Martin, who died Jan. 7, 2014. She was born in Lower Saucon Township on Jan. 17, 1938 to the late Roland and Eva (Young) Boehm. Eleanor attended Ebenezer New Reformed Church, Bingen. In the late ’70s, she and her late husband started Country Swingers, which was a good old country and gospel singing group.

Children: Paul H. (Dori A.) Arnold, Kathleen A. (Craig M.) Stoudt, Donna L. Chiles-Martin, Stephanie (Wayne A.) Cawley; siblings: Shirley Hermanovitch, Ruth Martin, Betty Mansfeld; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
SERVICE
