It was mercy-rule victory on Friday night for the Saucon Valley Panthers over the Bangor Slaters. There were a whole lot of big plays once again. But, we feel as though they all pale in comparison to this. Here is a special-teams gem executed by the Panther kickoff- return team.
With the Panthers holding on to a 28-12 lead after a potentially momentum changing score by the Slaters Garrett DeBoer, Curtis Clifford and Company will get all the momentum right back. The ball is kicked deep to Ian Csicsek who runs toward the Panther bench. At around the 10-yardline, Csicsek hands off to Curtis Clifford who changes direction back toward the Bangor bench. Clifford puts it into high gear and outruns all Slaters down the sideline into the end zone!
