When are Springtown’s Trick-or-Treat, Halloween Parade?

Springfield Township Police say they will be out in full force during Trick-or-Treat in order to slow traffic on Rt. 212/Main Street so the children who are Trick-or-Treating can safely cross the street.

UPDATE: Due to “popular demand,” Springfield Police say the date for Trick-or-Treat in Springfield Township has been changed from Oct. 28 to Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Although geographically close to the Saucon Valley, residents of Springtown, Springfield Township sometimes do things a bit differently, and that’s true when it comes to Trick-or-Treat.Trick or Treat

This year the village will hold Trick-or-Treat on Sunday, Oct. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Springfield Township Police say they will be out in “full force (during Trick-or-Treat)…in order to slow traffic on Rt. 212/Main Street for the children to safely cross the street.”

The Springtown Halloween Parade will be held earlier that day, at 1 p.m., and will beĀ  followed by hot dogs and apple cider for everyone at the Springtown Volunteer Fire Company, according to a post published on the police department’s Crimewatch website.

Any groups or individuals wishing to participate in the parade can contact the Springtown Volunteer Fire Company at 610-346-8383.

Hellertown and Lower Saucon Township will have Trick-or-Treat on Sunday, Oct. 28 from 3 to 5 p.m.

The 2018 Saucon Valley Spirit Parade will be held Sunday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. in Hellertown borough.

There aren’t rain dates for these events.
