An Upper Saucon Township man is being charged with DUI after police say he was allegedly found to have a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) more than four times the legal limit following a two-vehicle crash at Friedensville and Bingen roads in Lower Saucon Township last month.
In a post published on the township police department’s Crimewatch website Monday, police said Kevin James Thode, 43, of Center Valley was found to have a BAC of .35 percent after he was taken to the Northampton County DUI Center for processing following the Sept. 11 accident.
The legal limit for non-commercial drivers in Pennsylvania is .08 percent.
Police said there were no injuries as a result of the accident, and added that Thode is also charged with a traffic violation.
