Twelve Days of Panther Football Record Holders: Kelvin Gallard

On the seventh day of showcasing Panther football record holders, Saucon Source is proud to recognize senior, Kelvin Gallard.

Gallard is listed at 5’7″, 160 and wears #27.  He was a defensive dynamo and now finds himself in the Panther record books.  Kelvin checks in at the 14th spot following his senior year for Season Tackle Assists (33).  He also climbs to the 4th position for Season Solo Tackles (56).  The 2018 football season was good for Kelvin Gallard and Kelvin was certainly good for the Panthers.

Who’s #1 with Season Tackle Assists?  In 2015, Christian Carvis had 82 Tackle Assists.

Who’s #1 with Season Solo Tackles?  Ian Gimbar had 99 solo tackles during the 2010 season.

Kelvin said it: “My most memorable moment this season was beating Northwestern Lehigh in the District XI Semifinals. No one expected that we were going to win that rematch.”

Coach Sams said it:  “Kelvin did not enter the 2018 season as a starter.  Then, an injury happened and we never took him off the field again.  Kelvin had a great year leading the team in tackles.  Kelvin was also on all special teams and was, in my opinion, our special teams captain.  He is a ferocious tackler with good speed.  Kelvin is the ultimate team player.  He hustles at every practice and game, is always positive and respectful, and brings tons of energy to the team.  I will miss him for all of those reasons.”
