Helen A. Buchanan, 78, of Moore Township, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 at VNA Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.

Helen A. Buchanan, 78, of Moore Township, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 at VNA Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of David G. Buchanan. She was born in Fountain Hill on July 11, 1940 to the late Erwin J. and Mildred J. (Seifert) Arnold. Helen worked as the office manager for the Effort Foundry, Bath for 26 years until retiring in 2006. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Bath.

SURVIVORS

In addition to her husband of 20 years; children: Cheryl (Thomas) Keefer of Bethlehem Township, Brenda (Robert) Standlick of Mechanicsville, Va., Richard Uttard Jr. of Schnecksville, Vicki Hetzell of Wilmington, Del., Karen Taylor of Newark, Del., and Michele (Michael) Cunningham of Christiana, Del.; brother: Theodore F. Arnold of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Joshua Keefer, Shane Standlick, Tyler (Kaci) Standlick; 8 step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings: Sylvia M. Klotz, Erwin J. Arnold.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
