Milagros M. (MonFero) Walters, 76, formerly of Hellertown, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 at Valley Manor Nursing Home, Coopersburg. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Hellertown.
Milagros M. (MonFero) Walters, 76, formerly of Hellertown, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 at Valley Manor Nursing Home, Coopersburg. She was born in Liliw, Laguna, Philippines, on April 20, 1942 to the late Anselmo P. and Leonora (Tubiera) Monfero. She taught grade six in the Philippines and worked in various nursing homes in the USA until her retirement. She was of the Catholic faith.
SURVIVORS
Siblings: Carmencita Alicio, Lourdes Bragado, Erlinda Sulibit, Lilia M. Abuan. She was predeceased by siblings: Leticia Endaya, Alicia Mercado, Wilfredo Monfero, Estanislao Monfero, Emmaculata Salazar.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 10 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
