It’s time to vote for your favorite suggested theme for the 2019 Saucon Valley Spirit Parade, which will be held in Hellertown in October.

Each year a theme is chosen by the parade committee, which this year asked Saucon Source to invite members of the community to submit ideas via our Facebook page.

Below are the 10 most liked ideas by readers from the Facebook comment thread about this contest. Please vote for one.

The winner will be the person whose suggested theme receives the most votes by Friday, Jan. 11 at 5 p.m. In the event of a tie a random drawing will be held.

The winning theme idea is subject to final approval by the parade committee, which has the right to override the choice if they feel it is not positive or in keeping with the community spirit of the event.

The person whose suggested theme gets the most poll votes will receive a $50 gift card from a local restaurant provided by the parade committee.
