Wilson I. Wimmer, 90, of Palmer Township, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2019 at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Anderson Campus. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.

Wilson I. Wimmer, 90, of Palmer Township, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2019 at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Anderson Campus. He was the husband of Mary Anne (Lubasky) Wimmer. He was born in Spring Valley on Aug. 24, 1928 to the late Wilson E. and Elizabeth (Eisenhart) Wimmer. Wilson worked at Warren County Technical School, Washington, N.J., as well as West Morris Central, Chester, N.J., holding the positions of principal and mathematics teacher, respectively. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Nazareth.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his loving wife of 61 years; children: Terri (Andy) Herbster of Tatamy, Deborah (Jim) Smith of Bethlehem, Wilson J. (Laura) of Hudson, N.H.; son-in-law: Matthew Garvey of Nazareth; sister: Elizabeth Wilkins of Allentown; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughter: Susan Garvey.
SERVICE
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2019 at his church, 200 S. Broad St., Nazareth. There will be no calling hours. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
