Know what’s sweeter than a box of chocolates or a dozen roses for Valentine’s Day? Accompanying your sweetheart on a wine-tasting tour of scenic Bucks County.

With the Bucks County Wine Trail’s Passport to Bucks, you and your valentine can sample a wide variety of wines–featuring tastes for every palate–at all eight family-owned wineries. Best of all is that you can enjoy award-winning wines at your own pace, perhaps taking a getaway weekend or making several day trips to Bucks County to sample wines and shop in New Hope or Peddler’s Village, stay at a romantic B&B, enjoy a hearty brunch or see a show at the Bucks County Playhouse. See what’s happening in February in Bucks County.

The Passport to Bucks self-guided wine-tasting card is the perfect Valentine’s Day gift–one with a longer shelf life than the traditional roses or candy. A limited quantity of cards is available now for purchase. Passports can be used through April 30 and entitle guests to a complimentary wine tasting at all eight wineries along the Bucks County Wine Trail.

Warm up with mulled wine this winter and take in the vines budding with the first signs of life. Come back this spring to witness the beauty of cherry blossoms in full bloom. When you visit is completely up to you.

How it works: Through April 30, visitors who purchase a Passport to Bucks card for $30 will receive a complimentary wine tasting and have their card punched as each winery is visited and wine is sampled. Once all eight wineries have been visited and the card has all its punches, it can be entered into a drawing for a grand prize–two cases of locally made Bucks County wine!
