Mark Bench Swienckowski, 57, lost a long battle to alcohol and passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at his home in Bath.Swienckowski He was the husband of Denise (Frey) Swienckowski. Born in Reading in 1961, Mark had lived in the Lehigh Valley since 1974. He graduated from Freedom High School in 1979. His early work life involved jobs in several area kitchens. Later, he earned a radiography degree from Northampton Community College. Mark loved wheels: cars, motorcycles, go-carts, etc. So, when he could put his new degree to good use by working as a mobile X-ray technician, he jumped at it. He successfully worked in that field for more than a decade. He enjoyed golf and (according to him) he invented the belt! If you or a loved one are battling alcoholism, please seek help. There are many resources out there and you should never feel alone in the battle.
