The weather on the Fourth of July was hot, dry and sunny; perfect for swimming. And hundreds of residents flocked to the venerable Hellertown Pool to soak up some rays or take a dip in the refreshing blue water.

The splash pad at the pool was also a welcome way for little ones to cool off.

The pool is open daily from noon to 7 p.m., weather permitting, through Saturday, Aug. 24. For additional information about pool rates and rules visit HellertownBorough.org.
