Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will host an information session on Wednesday, Nov. 20 for individuals interested in pursuing a career in truck driving. The session will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. in room 106 of the Community Services Center on LCCC’s main campus at 4525 Education Park Drive, Schnecksville.

The session will provide details about LCCC’s Commercial Drivers License (CDL) training program, which offers Class A Tractor Trailer training in as little as four weeks. The program is designed to give students the necessary skills and knowledge to enter the trucking industry by covering areas such as defensive driving, maintenance, trip planning, equipment inspection, road safety and laws.

LCCC offers flexible class schedules, with daytime, weekend and evening options available. Classes begin every four weeks for the daytime program and every eight weeks for the evening and weekend programs. The college has partnered with national workforce training provider Ancora Training to deliver the CDL program, which emphasizes hands-on learning and road safety.

Interested individuals can attend the information session to learn more about the program and enrollment process. For registration and further inquiries, contact Cherry Young at 866-693-4661, ext. 0771, or ch**********@an*************.com. Additional information about LCCC’s CDL training program can be found on the college’s website at LCCC.edu/CDL.
