SVHS STUDENT SHINES IN SCHOLASTIC SCRIMMAGE: SVHS Junior Alex Morawski represented SVHS in the WLVT/PBS39 Scholastic Scrimmage All-Star Competition on Jan. 8. Following the filming, Alex, along with seniors Paul Mihalitsas and Chris Hoyt and sophomore Ryan Pakzad attended the 50th anniversary celebration at WLVT-TV studios, where they had a chance to meet the crew and thank Scholastic Scrimmage sponsors. SAUCON VALLEY SD PARENTS WITH AN IEP OR 504: Parents are being asked to share their experiences with the Pennsylvania Department of Education as part of Saucon Valley’s cyclicle monitoring, which is happening this year. Doing this will help ensure that Saucon Valley is compliant. Feedback should include the parent’s name and contact for the department to follow up if necessary. The email submission deadline is Jan. 29. (While there may be surveys and interviews with some families, all stakeholders are able to submit written feedback to be reviewed and considered by the Bureau of Special Education.)
