Kenneth D. Sutton (1930 – 2025)
Kenneth D. Sutton, 94, of Upper Macungie Township, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025 at the Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown. He was the husband of Nancy S. (Steckel) Sutton. Kenneth was born in Lower Saucon Township on June 10, 1930 to the late William and Anna (Wolbach) Sutton. He was an Electrical Supervisor at the former Coke Oven Division of Bethlehem Steel for 40 years, until 1990. Ken was a member of the former Mountainview Moravian Church, where he was a past Elder, Sacristan, Usher, Trustee, Sunday School teacher and co-chaired the building of the Sunday School addition. He was a Past Master Mason at the former Hellertown Masonic Lodge 563; a warrant member to constitute the First Day Lodge in PA; a dual member of Quakertown Lodge and Lehigh Day Lodge; past Hellertown Representative for Lehigh Consistory; past Thrice Potent; Master of Muhlenberg Lodge of Perfection of Lehigh Consistory, Allentown; and 33rd degree Mason-coroneted in Boston in 1993. He was a Life Member of the Royal Order of Scotland, a member of the Builder’s Club for Dyslexic Children, Allentown, a Life Member of the Hellertown Historical Society, a member of the Lower Macungie Township Historical Society, a member of the Widow’s Society of Bethlehem and a member of the Coke Ovens Reunion Club.

SURVIVORS
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 69 years last June 11; daughter: Kyle Diane (Philip) Forte in Indiana; granddaughter: Brittany Leigh Forte Uhlorn (Joshua) of Durham, N.C.; great-grandsons: Cameron and Hayden Uhlorn; brother: LeRoy Sutton of DuBois; sister-in-law: Gretta Sutton of Hellertown. He was predeceased by siblings: Betty K. Ernst and Carl W. Sutton.
SERVICES
Family and friends are invited to a visitation period from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The visitation period will be followed by the service at 12 noon. A funeral repast will be held at the Carriage House at Heintzelmans immediately following the service.
