TEACHER AND STAFF MEMBER OF THE MONTH: Congratulations to the Southern Lehigh School District’s teacher of the month, librarian Corry Robbins, and staff member of the month, principal’s administrative assistant Mrs. Young!
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION: Registration begins Thursday, March 20. Children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2025 to be enrolled. Registration information may be found at Slsd.org
WHAT’S SO COOL ABOUT MANUFACTURING VOTING OPENS: Southern Lehigh Middle School’s team can’t wait for you to see their video. You can vote as many times as you want from March 17-19. Visit WhatsSoCool.org, and select Lehigh Valley PA to find the team’s video. (Note: Saucon Valley Middle School’s iTeam is also participating in the competition.)
SCHOOL BOARD MEETING: The next meeting will be held Monday, March 24, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Southern Lehigh High School Boardroom, 5800 Main Street, Center Valley. The following meeting will be on Monday, April 14, same time and place.
PMEA BAND & ORCHESTRA COMPETITION: Congratulations to the SLMS students who participated in PMEA Solo and Small Ensemble Music Performance Assessment on March 8. Well done!Â
SPRING BREAK: All schools will be closed from Thursday, April 17 to Monday, April 21 for spring break.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES: The Southern Lehigh School District invites prospective applicants to apply for the following coaching positions: Head & Assistant Boys Wrestling coaches, Head Boys Basketball Coach and Head & Assistant Girls Soccer coaches.
