Stephanie F. Gerencser (1945 – 2025)

Stephanie F. Gerencser, 79, of Bethlehem Township, died Tuesday at her home. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. “The Butcher” Gerencser Sr. Stephanie was born in Allentown on Aug. 28, 1945 to Francis Medernach. She was a self-employed beautician in Bethlehem Township the majority of her life. She volunteered at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill, Meals on Wheels and Mountainville Lions Club.

SURVIVORS

Stephanie is survived by her loving children: Debra A. (fiancé Chris M. Smale) of Coopersburg, Christine L. Mowery of Bethlehem, Joseph M. Jr. (April L.) of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Austin (Pam) Smale and Tyler Mowery and Molly Gerencser; great-granddaughter: Lydia Smale.

SERVICES

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at the Cremation Garden at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
