A Coopersburg man is accused of damaging and stealing from a Quakertown area preschool over a period of hours Sunday night.

According to Pennsylvania State Police at Dublin, 41-year-old Roberto J. Rosario “occupied” the Schoolhouse Learning Center on N. Main Street in Trumbauersville borough for about six hours after allegedly throwing “a rock through a glass door to gain entry.”

While inside the school, police said Rosario “damaged school property and stole school supplies.”

State police were notified at around 7 a.m. Monday, after Rosario was observed leaving the scene by a witness who followed him and provided troopers with his location, a news release said.
