Ballot On-Demand Voting, Drop-off Boxes Now Available in Northampton Co.
Both ballot on-demand voting and ballot drop-off boxes are now available to Northampton County voters, county officials announced this week.
Ballot on-demand voting for the Tuesday, May 20Â Municipal Primary Election is available at the Northampton County Elections Office, County Government Center, Lower Level, 669 Washington St., Easton, PA 18042 at the following times:
- Saturday, April 26 • 9 am – 12 pm
- Monday, April 28 through Friday, May 2 • 8:30 am – 6 pm
- Saturday, May 3 • 9 am – 12 pm
- Monday, May 5 through Friday, May 9 • 8:30 am – 6 pm
- Saturday, May 10 • 9 am – 12 pm
- Monday, May 12 • 8:30 – 6 pm
- The LAST day for Ballot-on-Demand will be Tuesday, May 13 • 8:30 am – 5 pm
During this time, Northampton County residents who are eligible to vote can come to the Elections Office, register if they still need to, fill out a ballot application which will be processed immediately, and be handed a ballot over the counter. Voters may fill out the ballot in the office and return it the same day or take it home and mail it back via USPS (postage prepaid) or return it by utilizing one of the seven secure ballot drop boxes located throughout the county.
Anyone who wishes to vote via ballot on-demand must bring a valid ID with them to the Elections Office in order to receive a ballot.
Registered voters who have already applied for a mail-in ballot are not eligible for ballot on-demand voting and must wait to receive their ballot in the mail.

- The ballot MUST BE enclosed in the YELLOW secrecy envelope and sealed.
- The YELLOW envelope must be free of identifying marks, symbols or other writing.
- The PURPLE return envelope must be signed and dated on the back in the appropriate YELLOW boxes.
- The ballot must be returned to the Elections Office NO LATER THAN 8 pm on Election night, Tuesday, May 20. USPS postmarks do not count if the ballot is received after this deadline.

Accessing drop-off boxes does not require going through security at any location. Applications for mail-in and civilian absentee ballots are available in the Election’s Office and online.
The last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot is Tuesday, May 13.
