Marcia B. (Beck) Fry (1926 – 2025)

Marcia B. (Beck) Fry, 98, of Milford Twp., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at her residence. She was the wife of the late George F. Fry, who died Sept. 23, 2021. Marcia was born in Hellertown on Dec. 21, 1926 to the late John and Ethel (Silfies) Beck. She was a faithful member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Zion Hill, where she taught Sunday School and VBS for 25 years, was a past council member and was on the progressive action committee. Marcia enjoyed oil painting, crafts, quilting, flower gardening, bird watching, camping, hiking and the beach.

SURVIVORS

Marcia is survived by her children: Marcia F. (Dennis E.) Shaffer of Emmaus, John R. of Quakertown, Rev. Donald W. (Katherine) of Dade City, Fla., Richard A. (Linda M.) of Coopersburg; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters.

SERVICES

Family and friends are invited to a visitation period from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The visitation period will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will be at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. A funeral repast will be held at the Carriage House at Heintzelmans immediately following the graveside service.
