Joseph A. Mascott (1941 – 2025)

Joseph A. Mascott, 84 of Upper Saucon Township, died Monday, June 2, 2025 at the Inpatient Hospice at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Judith A. (DiFranza) Mascott. Joseph was born in Newark, N.J., on March 28, 1941 to the late Charles and Grace (Burke) Mascott. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. National Guard during peacetime. Joseph worked at Roxbury School District as a principal and educator for 25 years until retiring. He was a member of Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Bethlehem. Joseph enjoyed spending every minute with his grandchildren, along with the love of golf.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his loving wife of 59 years, last July; children: Michele A. (Ron) Noonan of Stroudsburg, Michael J.; siblings: Thomas (Jennifer) of Columbia, Md., Sue (Michael) Treida in Indiana, Jeanne (Lou) Befano of Hilton Head, S.C.; grandchildren: Ryan, Patrick, Madison, Joseph, Benjamin, Mya. He was predeceased by sisters: Maryann Harvey, Barbara Douglas.

SERVICES

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown.
