Popular, family-friendly films will be shown for free in local parks this summer, thanks to volunteer organizers and local business sponsors.

Lower Saucon Township’s 2025 Movies in the Park series will feature three films presented by the township with support from sponsors Mobile Technolog Graphics, Maui Shave Ice, Steel Club, Hanover Engineering, Goudsouzian Associates and Bethlehem Landfill. ‘Moana 2’ will be featured at Polk Valley Park, 2068 Polk Valley Road, Hellertown, on Friday, June 27; ‘Monsters Inc.’ will be shown at Steel City Park, 2122 Riverside Drive, Bethlehem, on Friday, July 18; and ‘Mufasa’ will be screened at Town Hall Park, 3700 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bethlehem, on Friday, Aug. 15. All of the films will begin at 7:15 p.m.

Attendees should bring their own chairs or blankets for seating. Refreshments will be available from Maui Shave Ice at all of the showings.

Upper Saucon Township’s Parks and Recreation Commission had planned to show ‘The Wild Robot’ as part of a School’s Out Bash on Friday, June 6 at Hopewell Park, however the event was canceled due to heavy rain that was expected that evening.
