Photos: Beating the Heat at the Hellertown Pool

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Wednesday dawned cloudy and cool, but skies cleared around mid-day and residents who have been starved of warmth most of June flocked to the Hellertown Pool for some fun in the sun, which continued until storms rolled through later in the day.

With temperatures forecast to reach 90 starting Sunday, and the first heat wave of the summer possible early next week, it’s safe to say that Wednesday’s crowd was just a taste of things to come at the aquatic venue located next to Dimmick Park.

The pool is open daily from 12 to 7 p.m., weather permitting, through Aug. 16, 2025. Available amenities include a splash pad, water slides, a pavilion and a snack stand. The pool also hosts several Dip ‘n Dance events throughout the summer, which are listed on the Saucon Source events calendar. Daily rates and season pass information may be found on the borough’s website.
