Musikfest 2025 Opens Thursday: 5 Fast Facts

The nation’s largest free music festival opens in Bethlehem Thursday, with hundreds of concerts scheduled at venues throughout the city. Musikfest 2025 is expected to attract more than a million attendees over 10 days, and if you plan to be one of them, here is some information you should know before you go.

Who are the headliners at this year’s Musikfest?

The headliners at Musikfest’s Wind Creek Steel Stage are Megan Moroney (sold out), Riley Green (sold out), The Avett Brothers, Darius Rucker, The Black Crowes, Chicago, Nelly, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Third Eye Blind, Jordan Davis and The Black Keys. Who’s selling food at Musikfest?

Among this year’s official food vendors are Mon and Mel’s Sweet Scoops Ice Cream Truck, Humpty’s Dumplings, Take A Taco, The Flying V, Empanada Guy, Hogar Crea of Freemansburg, Kona Ice, Theo’s Gyros, Kopper Penny, ‘Aw Shucks’ Roasted Corn, Heaven on a Bun, Island Expressions, Why Not Burgerz, Randevoo, Island Noodles, Kou Kitchen and Sherri’s Crab Cakes. Many other options for food and drink are available at restaurants and bars near the festival, which takes place on the north and south sides of the city.

Where are the Inclusion zones located and who are they for?

In partnership with Accessible Festivals and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, Musikfest is once again offering accessible spaces for anyone who may benefit from the opportunity to take a quiet break from the fast-paced festival environment. Known as the Inclusion zones, these spaces are located at NJM Insurance Group Familienplatz (North Side) and the PBS Courtyard (South Side). Each Inclusion Zone features family privacy areas, games and activities to support relaxation, and sensory-supportive spaces containing comfortable seating options, weighted lap pads, Moon mats, sensory toys, Silent Sound System headphones and more. Where can I find parking for Musikfest?

Parking is available at a number of satellite lot locations throughout the Bethlehem area, including Penn State Lehigh Valley at 2809 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley. Musikfest parking at PSLV will be available starting Thursday, July 31. The shuttle from Center Valley provides nonstop service to Shuttleplatz South and will operate weekdays from 5 p.m. to midnight and weekends from noon to midnight. Round trip tickets are $9 for adults (13 and older), and $7 for children (ages 3 to 12) when accompanied by a fare-paying adult. Children 2 and under ride for free when seated on the lap of an adult. Parking will also be available in the municipal garages operated by the Bethlehem Parking Authority. What are the hours for Musikfest 2025?

On the South Side, Preview Night (Thursday, July 31) will feature entertainment and other happenings from 5 to 11 p.m. Additional hours are as follows: Friday, Aug. 1: 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. (vendors open at 5 p.m.); Saturday, Aug. 2 and Aug. 9: 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.; Sunday, Aug. 3: 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.; Monday, Aug. 4 through Thursday, Aug. 7: 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.; Friday, Aug. 8: 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 10: 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.

North Side festivities begin on Friday, Aug. 1, when Musikfest will be open from 5 to 11 p.m. The remainder of the festival, North Side venues will be open from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. PNC Standtplatz will be open from 6 to 10 p.m. and the Guardian Life Insurance Company of America’s Zinzenplatz and IBEW LOCAL 375 Liederplatz will have weekday hours of 5 to 11 p.m.
