A man who Lower Saucon Township Police say behaved suspiciously in a residential neighborhood Wednesday is the subject of an investigation, with authorities asking that anyone who recognizes the man contact them.

According to a post on the department’s Crimewatch site, the man was one of four men in a Dodge Ram truck who stopped outside a home in the 2000 block of Quarter Mile Road around 4 p.m. Aug. 6.

Police said the man then approached a resident of the home and asked if a truck parked in their driveway was for sale.

“When informed it was not, the male claimed a neighbor up the street had said it was and then left,” police said.

According to the police report, it was later learned that the same group had pulled into another driveway in the 2000 block of Quarter Mile Road and asked another homeowner with a parked truck the same thing.

Police shared a home surveillance photo of the man with a request that members of the public help to identify him.

Anyone with information about the man is being asked to contact Ofc. Vito Giorgi at 610-317-6100 or email vgiorgi@lowersaucontownship.org, or submit a tip through the Lower Saucon Police Department’s Crimewatch Tipline.
