Brent S. Zimmer
Brent S. Zimmer, 75, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, at his home in Colorado Springs, Colo. On July 20, just days before his passing, he and his wife Virginia “Ginny” (Causa) celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Brent was a son of the late Raymond S. and Loretta C. (Beers) Zimmer. His career spanned several decades, encompassing a distinguished tenure as an industrial electrician with Bethlehem Steel Corporation, followed by roles with Northampton County and the Tobyhanna Army Depot. His dedication extended beyond his professional life; he also earned a Registered Nursing degree from Northampton Community College. A highly decorated veteran of the United States Army and Army Reserves, he served for over 32 years with unwavering commitment, contributing his expertise as a pharmacy technician and medical specialist in Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan and Honduras.

SURVIVORS
He is survived by his wife, Ginny; brother-in-law, Andrew and wife, Eileen; nephews, Jason and wife, Michelle; Colin and wife, Erin; four great-nephews; three great-nieces. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Barry; sister, Barbara and husband, David Salmon; niece, Michele and husband William Broad; nephew, Michael Salmon.
SERVICES
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, 326 Main St., Hellertown, PA. Burial with military honors will follow at Hay’s Cemetery, Easton. Visitation will be on Thursday, Aug. 14 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Friday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. To share condolences with this family, please visit Heintzelmancares.com.
