Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

A number of Hellertown car owners woke up to a nasty surprise Thursday. Borough police say they found their cars damaged, in what they characterized as numerous acts of criminal mischief.

Police said in a Facebook post that the vandalism occurred “during the late night hours on Sept. 3, 2025,” and involved at least nine vehicles. They shared maps pinpointing where the damaged vehicles were parked. Those locations were throughout the borough, including along Kiernan Avenue, High Street, Diehl Alley, Whitaker Street, Front Street and Magnolia Road.

Residents are being asked to check their vehicles for damage and to review any surveillance camera footage they may have.

Anyone with information about the incidents is being asked to contact Hellertown Police via the Northampton County Non-Emergency dispatch line: 610-759-2200.
