Two Upper Bucks Men Lose Thousands in Online Scams, Police Say

Pennsylvania State Police at Dublin say two Upper Bucks residents recently lost several thousand dollars in separate online scams.

According to news releases, in one of the scams a 25-year-old Milford Township man reportedly lost $2,500 “while attempting to purchase sports cards from a known scammer on TikTok.”

Police said that in the other scam, a 43-year-old Haycock Township man lost $1,100 when “unknown actor(s) were able to intercept cryptocurrency transactions and send them to an unknown location via the internet.”

Police said both scams occurred in May.
