David P. Zeigenfuss (1947 – 2025)

David P. Zeigenfuss, 77, of Lehighton, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025. He was the loving husband of Carolyn J. (Hess) Zeigenfuss, with whom he shared 16 years of marriage. Born in Lehighton on Dec. 31, 1947, David proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was employed as an assembly repairman for Mack Trucks in Macungie and also worked for several years in the concrete industry. David was an avid Penn State Football fan and enjoyed following NASCAR.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons: Paul Zeigenfuss and his wife Karen of Lehighton, and Scott Nothstein and his companion Robbin Rau of Nesquehoning; brother: Larry Ziegenfuss of Virginia; and grandchildren: Lauren, Alex and Nicholas. He was predeceased by his daughter: Jodie Zeigenfuss.

SERVICES

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at the New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3233 Apples Church Road, Bethlehem.
