John ‘Jack’ L. Armstrong Jr. (1943 – 2025)

John “Jack” L. Armstrong Jr., 82, of Limerick Township, Pa., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at the Hospice Unit of Phoenixville Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Jennifer L. (Stuempfle) Armstrong, with whom he shared 15 years of marriage. Born on Oct. 31, 1943, to the late John L. Armstrong and Mary E. Chapman Armstrong, Jack lived a full, rich and accomplished life. He most recently served as Executive Vice President-Technical Operations at CorMedix Inc. in Berkeley Heights, N.J., a role he held for seven years until his retirement in 2021 at the age of 78. His distinguished 40-year career in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry included leadership roles with ICI, Marion Labs, DuPont Merck, UroCor, Genaera Corp., Iroko Cardio LLC and Correvio. A devoted member of St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Audubon, Jack was a member and former leader of the Church Council and Endowment Board, and was deeply committed to his faith community. Jack’s passions brought him great joy throughout his life. A loyal University of Kansas Jayhawks basketball and Kansas City Chiefs football fan, he cheered his teams on with unwavering enthusiasm, though he was known, on occasion, to miss some memorable endings after predicting the wrong outcome and turning the television off a bit too soon. He was also a true wine connoisseur, with an extraordinary appreciation for fine wines. Jack loved collecting, studying and sharing wine, and he delighted in hosting tastings and introducing others to his extensive collection. He cherished time with his family, especially summers at their beach retreat in Avalon, N.J., and the many trips to Walt Disney World in Florida.
