Motorized Security Gate Damaged by Driver, Police Say
A motorized security gate on private residential property was significantly damaged when an unidentified motorist drove through it, Pennsylvania State Police at Dublin said Friday.
According to police, the damage to the gate was discovered by the 73-year-old resident when he returned home to his property on Mill Hill Road in Milford Township, Bucks County, on the evening of Nov. 19.
According to a news release, the unidentified driver first “traveled around a security gate” to access the property.
That person “then drove through another security gate to return to the highway, causing damage to the gate, its motor and other moving parts.”
Police said damage to the gate is estimated at approximately $4,000.
