Jeanette A. Stoneback (1941 – 2026)

Jeanette A. Stoneback, 84, of Hellertown, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, at Northampton Post Acute, Bethlehem Township. Born in Allentown on Dec. 27, 1941, Jeanette was the daughter of the late Claude and Verna (Gumph) Dornblaser. For decades, she was self-employed as a hairdresser; a profession through which she built lasting friendships and touched the lives of many. She also worked for Zieger’s Floral Wholesale in Allentown. Jeanette was a faithful member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown. She was formerly active with the Saucon Valley Lioness Club, a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed staying socially engaged throughout her life. Jeanette enjoyed playing cards with her contemporaries. In her leisure time, she loved line dancing and bowling; activities that reflected her fun-loving and energetic spirit.

SURVIVORS

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Wade R. (Luanne) Stoneback of Bethlehem Township, Shane T. (Samantha) Stoneback of Danielsville and Jeremy C. (Nicole) Stoneback of Bethlehem; and her cherished granddaughter, Casey Stoneback. Jeanette was also blessed with bonus grandchildren, Kyle and Olivia. She was very affectionate with her cat, Rosie. Jeanette was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth C. Dornblaser.

SERVICES

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will conclude services at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
