Magdalene Billiard (1938 – 2026)

Magdalene Billiard, 87, of Coopersburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2026, at Valley Manor Health & Rehab Center, Coopersburg. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Billiard. Born in Coopersburg on April 17, 1938, Magdalene was a daughter of the late Henry A. and Eva M. (Muschlitz) Fegley. She was employed for many years as a seamstress, working for various textile companies, where she was known for her skill and dedication. Magdalene enjoyed sewing and treasured the time she spent with her family and grandchildren. A self-proclaimed chocaholic, she also had a special place in her heart for her canine companions, Sadie and Rascal, who brought her much joy.

SURVIVORS

She is survived by her sons, James R. Billiard of Coopersburg and Jonathan R. Billiard (Connie) of Coopersburg; and her three grandchildren, Jonathan, Tiffany (Evan) and Josecelyn. Magdalene was predeceased by her sisters, Frances M. Wolf and Shirley A. Harriman.

SERVICES

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown, PA 18055. The calling hour will be followed by a service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. A funeral repast will be held at The Carriage House at Heintzelmans immediately following the graveside service.
