Edward Charles Flok (1957 – 2026)

Edward Charles Flok, 68, of Hellertown, passed away on Feb. 8, 2026. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Michael and Jeanette (Achey) Flok. Edward is survived by his loving wife Colleen (Heffernan) Flok, to whom he was married since June 11, 1983. Edward attended Saucon Valley High School, Northampton Community College and Kutztown University for higher education, and received his Doctorate in Environmental Sciences from Chadwick University. After retiring from working as an electrician for Conrail in Newark, N.J., he applied his handiwork to home projects for himself and for friends and family. He enjoyed traveling around the world, including teaching English abroad. He was a Philadelphia sports fan his whole life, translating his love of sports to football and baseball fields as a youth league coach, and achieving his black belt in Kenpo Karate. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and walking on trails in the Lehigh Valley with his wife.
SURVIVORS
Along with his wife Colleen, he is survived by his children: Christine Muthusamy-Flok, spouse of Veena, Keith Flok, husband of Nora, and Kimberly Hartwig, wife of Keith Hartwig; his siblings: Mike Flok, and Dan Flok, husband of Lisa; and his two grandchildren: Simon and Olivia. He was predeceased by his brother: Joseph “Ace” Flok.
