Gilbert B. Schoenenberger (1947 – 2026)

Gilbert B. Schoenenberger, 78, of Upper Saucon Township, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at his residence. Born in Quakertown on Oct. 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Nevin F. and Elsie E. (Weaver) Schoenenberger. Gilbert served his country faithfully in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he was employed in the Chemical Department of James River Corp., a paper mill in Riegelsville, until retiring. He was a dedicated and hardworking employee throughout his career. An avid hunter, Gilbert enjoyed spending time outdoors and appreciated the peace and solitude of nature.

SURVIVORS

He is survived by his siblings: Larry L. Schoenenberger and his wife, Patricia M., of Coopersburg; Timothy W. Schoenenberger and his wife, June, of Hellertown; and Janice L. Swoyer and her husband, Ken, of Allentown. He was predeceased by his siblings, Geraldine F. Correll and Richard Schoenenberger.

SERVICES
