SPRING BREAK: All SVSD schools will be closed from April 2 to April 6 for Spring Break.
SVHS SWIMMER SHINES AT STATES: Julia Cort won a silver medal and set a school record in the 100 free and won a bronze in the 50 free at states. Congratulations to all the Saucon swimmers who represented the district on the state stage!

ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE STUDENTS CLEAN UP: Mr. Focht’s AP Environmental Science students recently took their lessons outdoors to clean up the campus Environmental Center, where they found a good bit of waste. The hands-on project allowed the class to apply their studies on solid waste disposal and reduction methods to the SVSD campus.
SCHOLARSHIP DONORS NEEDED: Members of the SVSD community, parents/guardians and local business owners are invited to play a meaningful role in celebrating the Class of 2026. The Saucon Valley Scholarship Committee welcomes individuals and organizations interested in establishing a scholarship to recognize academic achievement, community involvement, future military service or another area of personal significance. Creating a scholarship is a lasting way to invest in Saucon graduates and their future success. WHAT’S COOL ABOUT MANUFACTURING CONTEST NEEDS YOUR VOTES: A group of SVMS students is competing in the annual “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing” video contest. In partnership with local companies, students are challenged to create a 2.5-minute video that highlights and promotes advanced manufacturing careers in the Lehigh Valley. This year, Saucon Valley partnered with Crayola. The iTeam needs your help to bring home the coveted Viewer’s Choice award. You can vote as many times as you’d like. UNIFIED TRACK & FIELD: Ready to run, jump or throw? Whether you’re a seasoned sprinter or have never stepped onto a track before, there is a place for you on the CoEd Unified Track & Field team. This inclusive program pairs students with and without intellectual disabilities for training and competition. Practice is twice weekly, with three competitive meets. NOW HIRING: The SVSD is seeking two full-time paraprofessionals. These positions support students in regular classrooms and other areas of the building when additional assistance is needed. SVHS THEATRE PRESENTS ‘THE DROWSY CHAPERONE’: Performances will be Thursday, April 16, 6:30 p.m., Friday, April 17, 6:30 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 6:30 p.m., and Sunday, April 19, 2 p.m., in the high school auditorium. Ticket sales begin March 19 at 6:30 p.m.
