Balloons still decorated the entrance to the new Sephora store at Promenade Saucon Valley Saturday, two days after it opened to the public. The store’s opening is being celebrated with customer giveaways and other promotions.

A beauty product purveyor with a significant local customer base has opened a store at Promenade Saucon Valley.

The new Sephora location in Upper Saucon Township opened Thursday, 14 months after it was first announced that the multinational French retailer planned to open a store there. In addition to cosmetics, it sells a wide range of bath and skin care products, hair products, perfume and beauty products. While its customer base is largely female, it also sells men’s products.

Located between Athleta and Brooks Brothers, near the center of the complex, Sephora is celebrating its grand opening with customer giveaways, sales and other promotions.

The store will also host special events in the future. Upcoming events listed on the Sephora website include a Clarins Exclusive In-Store Event April 17, a Dermalogica in-store event April 18 and a Benefit Cosmetics event May 29.
