Caron Elaine Ruhf (1958 – 2026)

Caron Elaine Ruhf, 68, of Bethlehem, passed away on Aug. 5, 2026. Born in Fountain Hill to the late Robert C. Ruhf and the late Sharon (Miller) Ruhf, Caron attended Liberty High School (’76), BAVTS for cosmetology and a little later NCCC while raising her two children, Claudia Kale and Aaron Kale, who she shared with the late Jeffrey Kale. Caron, a retired home health aide, truly cared for her clients and made some cherished friends through the years. Caron was a former Girl Scout, where her lifelong love of camping and fire tending began. She also enjoyed bowling, shooting pool and her New York Yankees. She had an artistic flair, a spicy sense of humor and an incredible capacity for love and acceptance. Free-spirited, bare-footed whenever possible, and a lover of the outdoors, swimming and sarcasm, Caron will be missed by so many and loved forever by those she leaves behind. Enjoy those white Russians, Caron. You’ve earned them.
