Although memories of Musikfest 2026 are still fresh, organizers aren’t resting on their laurels. They’re already busy planning next year’s event.

Last week, Musikfest’s parent organization ArtsQuest unveiled the poster for the 2027 festival, which was designed by artist Kelly Sulca Hernandez of Easton. The festival’s annual posters are works of art that appear on countless platforms and Musikfest’s branded merchandise.

Sulca Hernandez said she was inspired to create the poster by seek-and-find illustrations and books, and that she wanted it “to feel interactive, inviting the viewer to search for hidden details, and to represent Musikfest using a fantastical, larger-than-life approach.”

The unveiling took place Sept. 14 at the 3rd annual Jeff Parks Founders Society Celebration in Bethlehem. The society is a legacy endowment program established by the ArtsQuest Foundation in support of arts-based education for local students. It is named in honor of Musikfest founder Jeff Parks; the visionary leader who in 1984 developed what has since grown to become the largest free music festival in America.

Parks and Hernandez were joined by ArtsQuest President and CEO Kassie Hilgert for the unveiling at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks.

Musikfest 2027 will be held Aug. 5 through Aug. 15, 2027 at venues throughout Bethlehem. More information is available at Artsquest.org.
