Douglas N. Snyder (1955 – 2026)

Douglas N. Snyder, 71, of Slatedale, formerly of Hellertown, passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026, in his home. He was the husband of the late Arlene (Conrad) Snyder. Born in Indiana, Pa., on Aug. 28, 1955, Doug was the son of the late Rosalie (Lowman) and Lyle Snyder. Doug was a plant manager and dispatcher for Four Winds Concrete in Center Valley before retiring in 2024. Prior to that, he worked at Rahn Concrete in Collegeville. He started his career as a self-employed, over-the-road truck driver. A lover of cars, Doug instilled a love of racing in his son, grandchildren and extended family.

SURVIVORS

Sons: Douglas A. Snyder (Jenna) of Hellertown, David Conrad (Genya) of Coopersburg; brother: Jeffrey Snyder of Slatedale; grandchildren: Brianna Snyder, Weston Doklan, Ryan Conrad and Mikayla Conrad. He was predeceased by several siblings.
