Geoffrey R. King (1962 – 2026)

Geoffrey R. King, 64, of Lower Saucon Township, passed away Oct. 7, 2026 at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Sarah K. (Rossnagel) King. Born in Belleville, N.J., on June 1, 1962, to Richard and Jacqueline (Gibbons) King, he was raised by the late Joan and Douglas Helmstetter. He was a truck driver for Artur Express and Western Express for the last several years. Prior to that, he worked on the assembly line for Mack Trucks Inc. and in printing. An F&A.M., Geoffrey was a member of the Saucon Lodge # 469, Coopersburg.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his loving wife of 39 years, Sarah; daughter, Amelia D. Vosburg and her husband, Thomas, of Lower Saucon Township; siblings, Douglas Helmstetter and his wife, Karen of Lake Hopatcong, N.J., Thomas Helmstetter and his wife, Isabel, of Stanhope, N.J., Margaret Taddei and her husband, Leon, of Succasunna, N.J., William Helmstetter and his wife, Lisa, of Roseland, N.J., Christopher Helmstetter of Parsippany, N.J.; many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Gregory King.

SERVICES

A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. Family and friends may pay their respects from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Online expressions of sympathy may be shared at Heintzelmancares.com.
