Lower Saucon Police Holding Food Drive

The Lower Saucon Township Police Department is holding its annual Fill the Police Car Food Drive in support of local families in need.

Drop boxes are located at the police department headquarters and adjacent township municipal offices, as well as next door at the Lower Saucon Authority office building. Drop-offs at the township and authority offices will be accepted during business hours, Monday through Friday, or 24 hours a day at the box in the police department foyer. Donated items will be accepted through Thursday, Nov. 19.

Donations will benefit the New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church Food Bank in Lower Saucon.

All donations are appreciated and will help combat food insecurity during the holidays. The food bank is particularly in need of tomato sauce, juice (any flavor), jelly (any flavor) and hot and cold cereals, according to the police department’s flyer about the food drive.

The address for the township offices and police department is 3700 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015. The Lower Saucon Authority address is 3706 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
