Ronald Albert Petskus Jr. (1960 – 2026)

Ronald Albert Petskus Jr., 66, of Bethlehem, passed away on Oct. 29, 2026 surounded by his loved ones. He lived a life defined by responsibility, dedication, hard work, service and love for his family. Born in Shenandoah to the late Mary Ann Urban and Ronald Albert Petskus Sr., he was a proud and devoted man who believed in giving his best in everything he did, whether serving his country, working behind the wheel of a truck or taking care of the people and things that mattered most to him. Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 20 years, demonstrating his commitment, loyalty and dedication to protecting the freedoms we hold dear. Following his military service, he continued his hardworking ways as a truck driver for 30 years, spending much of his life on the road. His strong work ethic and determination were a reflection of the man he was. Outside of work, Ronald found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially those spent with family. He loved grilling, barbecuing and smoking meats, taking great pride in preparing delicious meals and bringing loved ones together around the table. For Ronald, food was more than just a meal; it was a way to share time, laughter and memories with the people he loved. He also enjoyed spending time at the beach, traveling, day trading and gardening. Ronald loved football and enjoyed watching all the teams equally, never claiming a favorite. He had a special eye for detail and was known for being meticulous when it came to repairs. Whether fixing something that needed attention, tending to his garden or perfecting his barbecue, Ronald took pride in doing things right. Ronald’s life was one of service, perseverance and devotion. He gave 20 years to his country and 30 years to his profession, but his greatest legacy will always be the memories he created and the love he shared with his family. He will be remembered for his dedication, his hardworking spirit, his attention to detail and the warmth he brought to family gatherings. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories of shared meals, beach days, travels and time spent together will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Ronald Albert Petskus Jr. will forever be remembered, deeply loved and never forgotten.
