A Lower Saucon Township man will be charged pending the results of blood toxicology tests, township police say, after he was involved in an accident in the 1200 block of Seidersville Road on the afternoon of Oct. 8.

In a news release police said Jason Siegfried, of the 2000 block of Springtown Hill Road, was traveling westbound, uphill on Seidersville Road when he crashed.

“(A) crash scene investigation revealed Jason’s Durango traveled 106 feet while his right tire was off the roadway,” police said. “He then struck a utility pole that caused the Durango to overturn. The Durango then slid an additional 73 feet on its roof until (it came to) its final resting position.”

Police said Siegfried was not injured in the 4:40 p.m. wreck.
