Richard R. Swartz, 83, Formerly of Bethlehem (Obituary Brought to You by Heintzelman Funeral Home)

Richard R. Swartz, 83, formerly of Bethlehem, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. He was the husband of the late Edna (Youngkin) Swartz, who died Aug. 1, 2011. He was born in Quakertown on April 20, 1934 to the late Raymond J. and Florence R. (Harr) Swartz. Richard served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during the Berlin Crisis. He was an assemblyman at Spirax-Sarco, Allentown for many years until his retirement.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 12 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 1 p.m. The interment will conclude services at Durham Cemetery, Durham.
